Chobani Yogurt Happy Hour at Ohio State
Her Campus Hosts the Launch of Chobani’s New Yogurt Bar
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Her Campus Ohio State is hosting a yogurt happy hour to launch Chobani’s second campus yogurt bar on April 14 from 5-7 p.m.
Chobani opened their first yogurt bar at the beginning of spring semester 2014 at The Market Place Dining Hall located on Tenth Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. It has been a success since the day it opened.
“Having the yogurt bar is great! I’ve been eating Chobani for years and having the bar on campus is a healthy option I can be sure of” said Emilie Hereshee a second year student living in the residence halls this semester.
Due to the huge success of the first Chobani Yogurt Bar, opening up a second one was an easy decision. The yogurt bar has become a favorite among students most likely because of all of its choices. Customers can chose from two different types of yogurt and 8 toppings ranging from fresh fruit to honey to chocolate chips. You can load up your cup with as much yogurt and toppings as you like for only $5. Giving people healthy options and alternatives is one of Chobani’s main goals.
“People have great taste. They just need great options” said Hamdi Ulukaya, founder and CEO of Chobani.
At the Yogurt Happy Hour all Ohio State students will be given the opportunity to try Chobani yogurt for free. Students will learn more about Greek yogurt and all the health benefits it provides. Also, the location of the second yogurt bar will be announced. Her Campus is excited to be hosting the event and working with Chobani.
“As a group of healthy and engaged students on campus, I think the Her Campus team is the perfect candidate to be hosting this event. We love Chobani and can’t wait to work with them on this event” said Natalie Gabrenya, Her Campus Ohio State president.
